Login creates a session for existing members and subscribers. Once logged in, you can edit your profile, vote on platform proposals, and rate essays. (The latter two are for members only.)
Logout does the obvious: ends your current session. If you do not log out, your session will be deleted automatically 24 hours after your last login. (If you login using multiple browsers, old session will be deleted earlier.)
Edit Profile allows you to update your user information. Do you want to switch from subscriber to caucus member? Has your LP membership status changed? Do you want to change your password? And so forth.
Change Password is a separate form for changing your password. Do make sure to change your password after you first join!
Proposals I have not yet voted on allows you to see which platform proposals you have yet to vote on. This list shows up as a popup so you can use it more than once to move the main window without losing the directory.
Essays I have not yet rated allows you to see which essays you have not yet rated. This list shows up as a popup so you can use it more than once to move the main window without losing the directory.
