In our next Vision Channel session, we will dispel a myth: Anyone who wants to automatically inspect a label on bottles or cans using image processing often intuitively turns to a line scan camera. But there is another way - with area scan cameras from IDS and an integrated line scan mode.
On 23 April, you will learn about the advantages of area scan cameras, which can trigger and capture both image lines and entire images. And with the source code example (available for free download after the session), you can easily recreate this yourself with your uEye camera and use it as a starting point for your own application.
